Adelphi Publishing was founded in 2005 by Irena Vitanova and Iliana Veltcheva (mother and daughter) under the pressure of circumstances - the family's youngest member, 6 year old Mina, kept looking for new books, but new and interesting titles to keep her entertained with really weren't too numerous. Knowing there's excellent content around the world to introduce Bulgarian children to, Irena and Iliana started Adelphi Publishing to fill in the gaps.

Since its conception Adelphi focuses on fiction and edicational books for children and young adults, and aims to translate and publish only the very best and most innovative titles on the market. We're currently working on our own in-house production (a book series for readers aged 3-6) whcih we'll exhibit in our catalog as soon as it's ready.
